How to create and publish a blog article

The Blog Article tool is designed to help you share expertise, provide in depth training insights, and engage your athletes through structured digital content. By utilising a variety of media blocks, you can transform simple text into a professional resource that enhances your coaching brand.

How to Access the Blog Creator

You can begin drafting your new article from your digital library in just a few steps:

  1. Navigate to the Library: Log in to your Pod1um account and select Library from the side rail.

  2. Select Digital Assets: Choose Digital assets from the available menu options.

  3. Click Add New: Select the Add new button to initiate a new blog project.

Dashboard Capabilities

From the article editor, you can manage every aspect of your content's layout using specific blocks:

  • Long Text Blocks: Use these for the main body of your article to provide detailed explanations and narratives.

  • Short Text Blocks: Ideal for creating headers, sub-headers, and brief introductory sections to improve scannability.

  • Link Blocks: Add external resources or references to provide further depth and credibility to your post.

  • Image Blocks: Insert visuals to break up text and illustrate key coaching points or exercises.

  • Video Blocks: Embed videos to demonstrate specific techniques or share interviews with your athletes.

Benefits of Structured Articles

Once you begin utilising the blog features, you gain a more professional and organised workflow:

  • Enhanced Organisation: Using headers and sub-headers ensures your content is easy for athletes to navigate on mobile devices.

  • Visual Engagement: Integrating images and videos keeps the reader’s attention and makes complex information easier to digest.

  • Consistent Branding: Maintaining a steady tone and style helps build a recognisable voice for your coaching business.

Final Review and Publishing

Before your athletes see the content, follow these final steps:

  1. Review All Blocks: Go through each individual block to ensure the content flows logically and is free of errors.

  2. Click Publish: Once you are satisfied with the layout, select the Publish button to make the article live.

Tip: Regularly proofreading your content for grammatical errors ensures your articles remain professional and maintain high coaching credibility.
